Helen Marie Evans

HELEN MARIE EVANS was welcomed into this world by her parents, Elbert and Zady Green, on September 5, 1930, and peacefully departed her earthly life on May 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Clinton Evans, her six siblings, and baby Partridge. Helen is survived by her sister Lucille Waymack of Cabot, her sons Stephen Partridge, and Kenneth (Donna) Partridge of Sherwood, Walt Evans of Coos Bay, Ore., her two grand-daughters, and her seven great-grand children. Helen worked for the Graduate Institute of Technology for 35 years. Her hobbies included trips with the Sherwood Senior Center, bingo, and volunteering with the DAV and Fishnet Ministries. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 9 a.m., with services at 10 a.m. at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
