Jesse Eugene Fisher

Jesse E. Fisher 87, of Beebe, Ark. passed away early Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Wiley and Jessie Ruth Wilkerson Fisher, his first wife, Carolyn Fisher and the mother of his children; five sisters, Alice, Ester, Francis, Mary and Harriet; three brothers, George, Wiley and James Allen; and one stepson Gary Sirk. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired after 40 years with Jones Trucking Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ faith. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Fisher; three sons, Phillip Fisher, Steven (Gayle) Fisher and Malcolm Fisher; one sister, Lauranna Fisher; one step-daughter, Sherry Lynn Via; two step-sons, Kenneth and Steven Sirk; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 13 step-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Tribute Processing Center, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kan. 66601-1653. Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400) with Mr. Dickie Harris officiating.
