Samuel Howard Perrien

Samuel Howard Perrien, born Sep. 1, 1934 in Sylvin Hills, Ark., died on May 1, 2015 in Lavaca, Ark. after a brief illness. He was the son of William Clarence Perrien and Christina Calva Perrien, and the brother of Justine Perrien, Jack Perrien, Frances Hill, Frank Perrien and Pat Tucker. Survived by his wife Sandra Perrien, children Meta Sue Thayer, Samuel Perrien Jr., Maya Freeman, Daniel Perrien, Thomas Coffman II and Cherie Hester, 21 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by His Mother and father, sister Justine and brother Jack Perrien, and granddaughter Billye Joe. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, worked at PC Hardware and Machinery Co for 53 years, was an active member of Lavaca First Baptist Church where he was loved and respected by the entire community. He was a devoted husband, loving Father and Grandfather. A memorial service will be held at Lavaca First Baptist Church in Lavaca. Ark., at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, Lavaca Ark.
