ALBERT THOMAS GATLIN, "TOM CAT", 87, of Little Rock, peacefully entered his heavenly home on Friday, May 1, 2015. Tommy was a hard working man. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII, retired as an ironworker after 50 years, and retired from Multi-States Electric after 20+ years. He will forever be remembered as a family man who served the Lord. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Arkansas Razorbacks! Preceding him in death are his parents, Bert and Pearly Gatlin and daughter, Vanda Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myrt Gatlin; son, Gary Gatlin (Kim); six grandchildren: Donnae McFadin (Steve), Tonya Britton (Paul), LeAnne Nugent (Brandon), Kimberly Gatlin, Brock Sempsrott, and Coltan Gatlin; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; dear friend, Cheryl Maack; and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, North Little Rock. Services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
