Charles Russell

Charles Russell, 69, of Beebe, passed away May 4, 2015 at Baptist Health in North Little Rock. He was born February 16, 1946 in Searcy to the late Charles and Effie Fox Russell. Mr. Russell was a retired natural gas pipeline contractor. He and his wife attended Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe. Fishing and hunting was a passion of his as well as putting out an immaculate garden each year. But, nothing more made his day than hearing his grandkids running around the house. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark Russell; three sisters, and one brother. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Benita Smith Russell of the home; two sons, David Russell (Kim) of Benton, and Jeffery Russell (Andrea) of Conway; three granddaughters, Amber, Gracyn, and Amanda Russell; two grandsons, Charles and Matthew Russell; a step granddaughter, Ashtyn Hearn; brother, Chester Russell of Richmond, Virginia; sister, El Wanda Crossno of Van Buren, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Lavetta Stader of Judsonia; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A visiting hour will begin at 1 p.m. Friday May 8 at Union Valley Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. Services have been entrusted to Sullivan Funeral Care of Kensett.
