Keith Eugene Brand

Keith Eugene Brand, 55, of Walnut Ridge, died May 4, 2015, in Little Rock. Born Nov. 7, 1959 he was a lifelong resident of Walnut Ridge. He served as City President of Regions Bank in Walnut Ridge. He was of the Methodist belief and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Keith was a 1978 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School and a graduate of Williams Baptist College. Some of his community service involvement included being a longtime and current member of the Walnut Ridge/Lawrence County School Board, a member of the Lawrence Health Services Board of Governors, the Kiwanis Club, Park Committee and Little League Program and serving his church in numerous roles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and May Brand, Rudy Pickens, and Imogene and Ted Riggs. Survivors include his wife, Tonda McEntire Brand; two sons, Ben Brand and Brighton Brand, both of Walnut Ridge; his parents, Gene and Sue Pickens Brand, Walnut Ridge; two brothers, Alan Brand and wife, Tonya, and Kevin Brand, all of Walnut Ridge; and a sister, Kay Lynn Brand Bennett and husband, Kenneth, Pocahontas. Funeral is Friday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge with Revs. Jeanne Williams and J. Anthony Holifield officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bill Wilcoxson, Larry Weeks, Clay Sloan, John Bland, John Howard, Tom Hilburn, Steve Jackson and Paul Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Brannon, Scott Allison, Ross Rainwater, Daniel Mullen, Terry Belcher, Terry Kelley, Jeff Taylor and Kelly Austin. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge.
