Marshall N. Baker, 77, died peacefully from this life Sunday, May 10, at Westood Health and Rehab, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born April 9th, 1938, in St. Louis. Missouri, to Abe and Gertrude (Smith) Baker. His early life was spent in St. Louis, Mo. where he attended pharmacy college and worked for his father as a Pharmacy Tech. He met the love of his life Evelyn (Shackelford) Baker and celebrated 41 years on May 5th. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Reserves and received a honorable discharge in 1958. Marshall enjoyed the outdoors and his lifelong passion was traveling, golf and photography. He enjoyed the many beautiful landscapes in the western states, particularly the Colorado mountains. He is survived by his sister, Saruth Merrims and nieces Judy Merrims and Gale Philips of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces Lori Merrims and Cathy Merrims of Phoenix, Ariz. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Village Bible Evangelical Free Church, at 11 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 with Pastor Mark Voll officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Village Bible Evangelical Free Church, 210 Town Center SE., Bella Vista, Ark. 72714 or the Children's Hospital of St Louis, 400 S.
