Ruth P. Anderson

Ruth P. Anderson, 97, of Rogers died Monday night May 11, 2015 at Apple Blossom Retirement Home in Rogers, Ark. where she was a resident for the past eight years. She was born May 5, 1918 in Dalton, MO the daughter of Pearl Arthur and Clara Kolas Kuhlman. Ruth was the third oldest in a family of 8 (5 girls and 3 boys). Ruth married Harold F. Anderson in Moberly, Mo. on May 11, 1935. Harold and Ruth farmed South of Craig, MO for over 40 years. They retired in 1981 and moved near their son. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold to whom she was married for 72 years, and her son, Wayne. Ruth is survived by a son, Gary L. Anderson and wife, Jane (Drewes) of Rogers; two grandchildren, Keven Anderson and wife, Lisa and Cynthia Anderson Beeman and husband, Dan; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Anderson of New Haven, Conn. and Joshua Anderson of Fayetteville, Ark. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Mike Fish officiating. Arrangements have been entrust to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
