Gregory Hoyt Fortson, 57, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1958 in Little Rock and lived there his entire life. Greg is survived by his loving parents, Gene and Gaylia Fortson; his sister, Gigi Bailey and her children, Brooke and Hannah; and his brother and his wife, Grant and Jaime Fortson, and their children, Mary Kate, Ben, Caroline and Claire. Greg graduated from Parkview High School in 1978. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Greg loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and his family loved him dearly. He made all of our lives better with his unconditional love and pleasant spirit. If you knew Greg, you were his friend. He loved people and people loved him. He was the ultimate sports fan. He loved the Razorbacks and the Cardinals, but his favorite teams were those played on, or cheered by, his nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be held at St. James United Methodist Church today, Friday, May 15 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Siegfried Johnson officiating.
