Richard L. Cahill

Richard L. Cahill, son of Emer Cahill and Florence Douglas Cahill, was born in Clarinda, Iowa on May 29, 1939 and passed away at Fairfield Bay on May 15, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Richard had worked for Hy-Vee Food Stores, Bankers Life and Casualty Company and for the past 17 years KFFB radio Station in Fairfield Bay. Richard was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fairfield Bay and was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star and past president of Fairfield Bay Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife Katherine, two sons Chris of Missouri and Alan of Fairfield Bay, daughter Karen Russell (Robert) of Iowa, five grandchildren, sister Betty Maier of Utah. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 19 Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church starting at 9:30 a.m. and funeral services will be at the church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Clarinda, Iowa.
