Robert "Bob" Lester Tate

Robert "Bob" Lester Tate, 67, of Jacksonville, passed away May 11, 2015. He was born in Lake Village, Ark. on December 2, 1947. He was a Christian. He loved singing, golfing, and bowling, and most of all, his family. He is survived by his wife, Dale Hicks Tate; daughters, Buffy Tate Merrell (Greg) of Lebanon, Tenn. and Briana Blair Tate of Jacksonville; sisters, Jakie Gibson, Liz Aaron, Ritta Holiman and Linda Gosney; brother, Carl Tate; grandchildren, Elizabeth Merrell, Bradley Merrell and Rebekah Merrell, of Lebanon and great-grandson, Jude Snody, of Lebanon; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Sharelle Tate, father, Jake Tate, mother, Essie Tate, and five brothers, Bill Tate, Jim Tate, Jerry Tate, Jessie Sharp and Lee Hilton.
