John T. Roberson, Jr.

JOHN T. ROBERSON, JR., age 84, of Jacksonville, passed away May 16, 2015 at North Little Rock, Ark. He was born Jan. 5, 1931 in North Little Rock and he was the son of John T. Roberson, Sr. and Bamma Lucille Shoppach Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a Tech. Sgt. during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was also a retired machine operator from Remington Arms. Mr. Roberson was a member of the Masons, and he thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He is preceded in death by his son, Jackie Wayne Roberson. Survivors include his children: Tom Roberson and wife, Kay; Pam Gunn; and Cheryl Ellison and husband, Randy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 12 beloved brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be held at Concord Cemetery in Furlow, Ark. at 2 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2015.
