Kenneth R. Clipp, Jr.

Kenneth R Clipp, Jr., 80, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on May 15, 2015. Ken was born in Harrisburg, Pa., on June, 30, 1934. Ken served four years in the U.S. Navy and retired after 17 years in the USAF. Ken worked another 21 years with the U.S. Post Office. Ken couldn't stay complacent, and started KC Lawn Service until his health would not allow him to work. He was a lifetime member of AuSable Lodge #243 F. & A.M. Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Emma Clipp, his father, Kenneth R Clipp, Sr., and two brothers Thomas Clipp, and Frances Clipp. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nica Clipp; two sisters, Donna Smith of New Jersey and Rachel Hora of Pennsylvania; his sons Clifford (Kimberly) Clipp, of Forney, Texas, Gregory Clipp of Sherwood, Ark., Lane Clipp, of Jacksonville; his daughter Tamara (Doug) Adkisson of Sherwood, Ark.; stepdaughter, Laura Kelloms, of Jacksonville, Ark.; and a stepson, Mark (Valerie) Perry of Jacksonville. Ken is also survived by nine grandchildren. Ken enjoyed fishing, wood working, and playing cards. He and Nica enjoyed square dancing and ballroom dancing. Ken has so many people to thank for caring for him during the last seven months. A special thanks to Ken's sister, Rachel, for coming down south and taking such good care of him for such a long time, and to the staff of Arkansas Hospice for their outstanding care. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 pm on May 20 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood, Little Rock, Ark. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Research Center or to the St. Paul United Methodist Church Choir department. Services are entrusted to Arkansas Cremation.
