Lois Hunter

Lois Marie (McElhannon) Hunter passed quietly on the morning of May 17, 2015 at the age of 93. The daughter of John Baylis McElhannon and Rosalena (Childers) McElhannon, Lois grew up in Clark County and remained a lifelong resident of Arkansas. She married the Reverend Joseph Wiley Hunter, a long time pastor of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Jan Pruett; Gail Huss; and Vicki Arrington (Jim Arrington). Lois was quick to spoil her eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, Arkadelphia, Ark., at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015.
