Lue Elizabeth Thompson Childers

Lue Elizabeth Thompson Childers, 89, of Mabelvale died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Grace Living Center in Edmond, Okla. Born September 11, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John Newton and Gussie Mae Thompson. She was a retired seamstress from Kellwood Company and a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Thompson, John Thompson, Jim Thompson; two sisters, Gladys Thompson, Margie Boryschtsck; grandson, Travis Lee Richardson; great-grandson, Gage Owen. She is survived by four daughters, Ann Mills (Floyd) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Nancy Richardson (Butch) of Little Rock, Ark., Judy Crabb (Herman) of Redfield, Ark., Jean Dumont (George) of Edmond, Okla.; two sons, James Childers (Cindy) of Carlisle, Ark., Paul Childers (Chris) of Lubbock, Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday May 22, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Ark. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce, Ark. with Pastor Ronnie Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Reaves Cemetery.
