Majil Elaine DeBolt

Majel "Elaine" DeBolt died May 17, 1015 in Bentonville, Ark. She was born June 29, 1937 to Harry A and Majel S. Debolt in Torrington, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jack and Max DeBolt and an infant sister, Jean Kay. Elaine is survived by her children Kerry Hankins, children, Preston and Kailei of Irving Calif.; Jordan Hankins (Michelle), children, Shelby and JJ of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and Kay Walker-Clyatt (Rob), children, Madison and Brody of Bentonville, Ark. Grandchildren Alyssa Webster, Tom Webster and Nick Webster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and in-laws. Her first great-grandchild is due in August 2015. Never bored, Elaine was an avid golfer, read eclectically but especially enjoyed History and World War II. She refinished furniture, enjoyed working in her flower gardens, played in a weekly bridge group and loved to paint with acrylics. She was also a life long Bronco fan. Her children, their lives and families was always uppermost in her heart and although separated geographically she was involved with them as much as possible. Elaine graduated from Torrington High School, Torrington, Wyo. in 1955. Following graduation she attended Colorado Women's College in Denver, Colo. for a year before transferring to the University of Wyoming where she received her BS in Nursing in 1961. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Alpha Chapter at the University of Wyoming, whose members she counted as particularly special friends all of her life. No services are planned. Elaine would like memorials forwarded to one's local Battered Women's Shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.
