Sue Broyles

Sue Broyles, 78, of McGehee, Ark. died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Pinewood Nursing Home in Crossett, Ark. She was born December 9, 1936 in Yell County to the late Clarence E. and Elsie French Cooper. Sue worked at DanTan Company for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of South McGehee Baptist Church. She loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Broyles; brothers, Billy Cooper, Dan Cooper, and Jimmy Cooper; sisters, Missy Hendrix and Pam Cooper. Survivors include son, Brent Broyles and wife Kelli of Branson, Mo.; daughter, Melissa Langley and husband Herman of Fayetteville, Ark.; brothers, Don Cooper of Sheridan and Paul Cooper of London, Ark.; sisters, Diane Nichols of Crossett, Ark. and Earline Hunsucker of Star City, Ark..; grandchildren, Haley Terry, Colby Irons, Lane Irons and Mason Broyles; great-grandchildren, Maddy Terry and Gannon Terry. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 at South McGehee Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery in Watson, AR.
