He volunteered his time to several charitable organizations by emceeing their benefit tournaments. He and his crew also ran the National Tyson Tournament for several years. He loved the experience of being a boat captain for The Harmony Grove High School fishing team. Ronnie loved the outdoors but fishing was his favorite sport. Not only was he a fisher of fish, his greatest passion was being a fisher of men. He was a longtime member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Ronnie got involved in every ministry he could. He cooked fish when Holland Chapel had their Friday fish fry, he was a leader in AWANA for TNT boys and he served in Amplify Fest. Ronnie loved mentoring to young men in the basketball ministry he helped start 13 years ago. His greatest passion was The Hereafter House, where he was co-director. Ronnie was there from setup to tear down. He was employed by Everett Buick Pontiac GMC, where he won new car salesman of Saline County 2 years in a row. The employees there were more than co-workers, they were family and they will miss him greatly. Whenever you asked Ronnie how he was, he would always reply "Better than I deserve". He was an over achiever in everything he did, having worked the Friday before his hospital admission Monday and attending church the Sunday before his passing. He never gave up.
