Donald Louis Rabeneck

Donald Louis Rabeneck died on Sunday May 24, 2015. Donald was born April 8, 1933 to Eldor and Lucille McMillin Rabeneck and raised in the Stahley community on River Road between Stuttgart and Casscoe, Arkansas. He attended grades one through eight at Stahley School, and graduated from Stuttgart High School. Upon graduating high school, Donald began farming with his father, and his brothers Glenn and Ralph. In 1959, Donald married Elizabeth Carle and they had four children, and were married for 55 and a half years. Donald was a life-long rice and soybean farmer. He served on the board of elders of St. John Lutheran Church, the board of directors of Farmer's Protective Insurance, the board of directors of Producers Rice Mill, Lone Tree Cemetery committee, and was a member of St. John 6 a.m. Wednesday Bible Class. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Eldor and Lucille Rabeneck, his son Gregory, his daughter Rayanne, and his brother Glenn. Donald is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his daughter Christy Rabeneck of Maumelle, Ark., his son Billy Rabeneck (Gretchen Bickerstaff) of Stuttgart, his sister Ruth Biela of Springfield, Pa., his brother Ralph Rabeneck (Mary Ann) of Beebe, Ark., his sister Wanda Phelps of Stuttgart, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. with visitation 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church.
