Jon M. France

Jon M. France, 68, of Conway, passed away May 23, 2015. He was born to Elmer and Mary France on June 1, 1946 at the Jacksonville, North Carolina Marine Base where both his parents were serving in the Marine Corp. He owned and operated the Standard Auto Parts Store in Jacksonville, Arkansas for over 25 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Conway. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and wood working and loved to be with his grandkids. He loved to tell stories, was always positive and never had a bad word to say about anybody. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Justine France; son, David France of Dallas, Texas; son, Joe (Jennifer) France of North Little Rock; daughter, Sarah France of Conway; and two grandchildren, Jesse and J.T. France. He is also survived by his dog Stella, his Corgi that never left his side. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, at 9 a.m. with services beginning at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock, Rev. Ron Raines officiating.
