The Honorable Aline Frazier, 91, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Born February 8, 1924 Benton, Arkansas, daughter of the late Mattie Witham Addie. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Husband Jess and two brothers. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jim Young, son, David Frazier Sr. of Little Rock, sister Shirley and Jim Larch of Conway. Blessed with two grandsons and daughters-in-law, Wake and Emily Young with two great-granddaughters, Savannah and Harlow, of Little Rock. David Frazier Jr. and Kimberly with two great-grandsons, Matthew and Andrew of Palm Harbor, Fla. Early in life she met the love of her life, Jess. Being married for almost 40 years brought many exciting adventures. Starting out in Little Rock, moving to St. Louis, Hot Springs, Los Angeles then back to Little Rock. Aline was a dedicated member of Immanuel Baptist for 66 years and member of Elizabeth Sunday School Class. In her younger years, she taught Sunday School to 5 year old's for 25 years. The church was her second home, every Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday. Serving for 10 years on the Quorum Court as Justice of Peace, she served her precincts well. As Justice of Peace, performing wedding ceremonies came with the job. She performed 100's of weddings. One July 15, 1988 she received her Minister's Credentials. Some weddings were held at The Old Mill in North Little Rock, Homes, Backyards, Mountaintops, her home and Airplanes. Meeting new people and witnessing was the highlight of her life. Once asked to remove the word God and Lord from her service, she responded by witnessing to them. Performing a wedding in a hot air balloon, she quickly pronounced man and wife. As she stepped backward to remove herself, the balloon soared high with her feet being safely planted on the ground. Involved in Beta Sigma Phi, Salvation Army Auxiliary, Red Cross Baptist Auxiliary, Florence Crittenan Jr. Board, Brownie Troop Leader and working at Stiff's jewelry. Aline was blessed to have lots of devoted companions and friends, Sharing life full of joy with family and many friends. The last years of her life she made a very special friend and companion, Rev Charles Thompson. Together they spent thousands of hours visiting the sick in hospitals and homes. Teaching Sunday School and having church service for those in assisted living. Aline was a Greeter at Immanuel Baptist Church 9 a.m. service. Speaking to everyone by name, as they entered, then taking her seat along side of Charles in the Sanctuary. Her last three years were spent at Presbyterian Village Health Care Center. She loved all the staff, all the nurses and CNA's. The attention and care they gave Aline was unbelievable. She became involved in all their activities, even winning the 2012 Beauty Pageant Queen. Again, making new friends, greeting people as they came in, enjoying their families. Visiting with the Residents. A life worth Celebrating. A life well lived. The family will receive friends for 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 29 at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Gary Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 N. Alexander, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Missions, 501 N. Shackelford Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72211.
