Becky Allen Braden, loving wife of Marv Braden, of Hot Springs Village went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, May 23, 2015 with her family by her side. In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Frank Bartkowski of Weatherby Lake, Missouri; grandson, Matthew Bartkowski, whom she lovingly referred to as "My Favorite Boy in All the World", of Weatherby Lake, Missouri, and all of her Balboa Baptist Church family. Becky was born on April 19, 1937, in West Plains, Missouri, and lived in Salem, Missouri where she graduated from high school. She is preceded in death by her parents, Josie Lee Allen and Robert Lee Allen, Sr. and a brother, Robert Lee Allen Jr. She attended Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Becky was a shining light to everyone who knew her. She always had a smile on her face that reflected her loving, gentle spirit and was a faithful servant to her Savior. Her family at Balboa Baptist Church will sorely miss her but also celebrate the fact that she won the victory and is now in the presence of her Lord. At Balboa she was a member of the Celebration Choir, the Joy Trio, very involved in Awana, and a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She recently completed 18 months of service on the Transition Team. Becky also had a passion for missions. She played an instrumental part in helping to organize and participate in a Vacation Bible School at Searcy County Baptist Church in Marshall, Arkansas. Balboa church members faithfully served in the Bible School for over fourteen years. A Celebration Service of Becky's life will be held on Friday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Balboa Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, because of her love for the Celebration choir and Awana, donations are requested to Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
