Sue Hobbs Spivey, age 76 of Benton, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born November 23, 1938 in Benton, Arkansas. She was retired from the banking industry and was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents Will and Dovie Hobbs, her siblings, Charles Hobbs, Betty Hobbs Evans, Bobby Hobbs, and Mary Ellen Hobbs. She was also preceded by her grandson, Kyle Polk. She survived by her husband, Jack Spivey and her four children, Jackie Echols (John), Rick Spivey (Susan), Cindy Green (Marty) and Sally Hinkle. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chad Parker, Crista Anderson, Stacey Spivey, Cameron Spivey, Hunter Green, Chelsea Camp, and Landon Hinkle. Also her great grandchildren, Isaac Paul, Gracie Paul, Cade Parker, and Addyson Anderson. She is also survived by a sister, Ann Holder (Ralph) and a brother, John Hobbs (Jill). Visitation will be 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Benton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Benton. There will be a private committal service for family only. Pastor Rick Grant will be officiating the funeral services. Pallbearers will be John Echols, Marty Green, Chad Parker, Coy Fitzhugh, Hunter Green, and Cameron Spivey. Memorials will be accepted in honor of her grandson, Kyle Polk. Donations can be sent to the Kyle Polk Memorial Scholarship Fund at First Security Bank in Benton or Bryant.
