Charles Aloysius Thompson

Charles Aloysius Thompson, 76, of Jacksonville, passed away on May 23, 2015 in Jacksonville. He was born on February 5, 1939 in St. Mary's, Maryland to the late Leroy and Roberta Geneva (Campbell) Thompson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Thompson and Betty Morgan. Charles was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He belonged to the Air Force Sergeant's Association, Knights of Columbus, and the Little Rock Air Force Base Chapel. He also volunteered at the VA Home and with Big Brother/Big Sister program. Survivors include his daughters; Rochelle Robinson of Altus, Okla. and Melanie Wolf (Hank) of Fairfield, CA; his son; Tyrell Thompson of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren; Bryson Curry and Koby Robinson, Katie Wolf, Safi Thompson, his brother and sisters; Bernard Thompson ( Vernette), Imelda Hardy (Herbert), Ellen Thompson (Charles), all of Maryland, other relatives and friends. Rosary will be 10ca.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St. Jude's Catholic Church.
