Bert Junior Farnsworth, 65, of Bentonville died Friday, May 29, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice House. He was born in Artesia, New Mexico. In his younger years, he enjoyed restoring muscle cars and playing basketball and tennis with his kids. He enjoyed researching the financial markets both international and domestic and trading foreign currencies. His main interest has been spending time with the youngest of his children, Elizabeth, Joshua and Jonathan Farnsworth of Bentonville, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines, during the Vietnam War, where he earned an Honorable Discharge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Bert and Anita Revada Farnsworth of Artesia, New Mexico. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Bert is survived by five sons: Mark Farnsworth of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Scott Farnsworth and his wife Dawn of Surprise, Arizona; Chance Farnsworth of Amarillo, Texas; Joshua and Jonathan Farnsworth of Bentonville; three daughters: Kim Romero of Amarillo, Texas; Shelly Amos and her husband Brandon of Amarillo, Texas and Elizabeth Farnsworth of Bentonville. He is survived by one sister: Christine Harden and her husband Winston of Shawnee, Oklahoma, 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, from 10-11 a.m. at Epting Funeral Home Bentonville. Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 2, at noon at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
