Edward Pelham "Pete" McGehee, III, age 69, of Lake Village died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center of Greenville, Miss. Mr. McGehee was born February 13, 1946 in Lake Village, Ark. He is the son of the late Dr. Edward Pelham and the late Mary (Peel) McGehee Jr. He played baseball for the University of Arkansas, a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, active member of MGMA, and was president of MOCCA Museum in Lake Village, Arkansas, which was built by his grandfather, Dr. Edward P. McGehee Sr. in 1910. He served in the Army National Guard, and is a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village. He was a Medical Clinic Administrator for several different location for over 30 years. He is survived by one daughter: Ashley Graves of Lake Village, Ark. and one son: William McGehee and wife, Emily, of Fayettville, Ark.; one sister: Mary Sue Curtis of Brentwood, Tenn.; two grandchildren; Conner Graves of Lake Village, Ark.; Reed McGehee of Fayettville, Ark.; and ex-wife, Janis Holliday of Texarkana , TX; and a host of other family and friends. Predeceased by his father, Edward P. McGehee Jr., mother, Mary Peel McGehee, sister, Scooter McGehee-Kerbough, wife, Alice Petty-McGehee. Visitation will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31 at Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village, with memorial service starting at 3 p.m. and graveside service to follow.
