Freddy Young

Freddy Young, age 70, of Sparkman, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. Freddy owned and operated Young's Sports and Marine in Arkadelphia for many years. He also was a commercial roofer and attended First Baptist Church in Sparkman. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joseph Young; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Merlene McCaskill Young; one grandson, Joseph Ryan Young; one brother, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 1 at Sparkman First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.
