David Q. Newcomer

David (Papa) Q. Newcomer of Hot Springs, Ark. went to be with the Lord at the age of 54 on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 after a six-month battle with cancer. Dave was loving, honest, fair, generous, and hard working-full of energy and life. He will be greatly missed as a son, brother, husband, father, papa, and friend. Dave is survived by his loving wife Robin; children–Aimee, Casey, and Sydnee and their spouses Kevin, Kayla, and Tyler respectively; grandchildren–Michael, Nevaeh, Isaiah, Jonathan, Brody, Audrey, Molly, Zach, and Abby. Dave is also survived by his father, Harold; sister, Lori; and a niece and nephew Josie and Dalton. He was predeceased by his mother Claudine. A Celebration of Life organized by his family and church will be held at the Church of Christ on Airport Road in Hot Springs, Ark. on Nov. 8, 2015. In honor of Dave, we invite everyone to a potluck prepared by the church at the above location at 11:30 a.m. The memorial will take place at 12:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Corin Read Christian Camp, Bauxite, Ark.
