George Henry Merrill

George Henry Merrill, 88, of Rogers, passed away Oct. 31, 2015 in Rogers. He was born Jan. 16, 1927 in Rudd, Ark. George owned and operated Merrill Plumbing for 57 years and his son, Ronnie, worked 27 years in the family business. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers and served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rowena Roughton Merrill. Survived by his children, Kenneth Merrill of New York City; Barbara Merrill Brown of Rogers; and Ronnie Merrill and wife, Kelley of Pea Ridge; three grandchildren: Tyler Brown, Renae Merrill, and Blake Merrill; one great-grandchild, Slone Brown. Funeral services: 10 a.m., Monday; Nov. 2, 2015 at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor Jim Bland officiating. Burial will follow in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
