Margie Stracener

Margie Stracener, 80, died Monday, November 2, 2015, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born on May 5, 1935, to the late Ancel and Sadie Thomas in Des Arc. Margie graduated from Des Arc High School, Class 1952, and was a member of the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. She married the love of her life, Bill Stracener, on October 22, 1954 in Biscoe. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Stracener; and sister, Ella George. Survived by her husband, of 61 years, Bill Stracener; two sons: Perry Stracener (June) of Rogers, Mark Stracener (Susie) of North Little Rock; two daughters: Sharon Crittendon, Leah Rivera (Manuel) both of Fort Smith; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Funeral service will be at Roller-Owens Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2015. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
