Ronald Gene Snavely, 75, of Springdale passed away November 3, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born April 28, 1940 in Elm Springs, Arkansas to A.L. "Odie" and Eula (West) Snavely. Ronald was a 1958 graduate of Springdale High School. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He was a diesel mechanic at Willis Shaw Express in Elm Springs for 41 years. He attended Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Leon Snavely of Valley Center, Kansas; two nieces and two nephews. Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty (Morris) Snavely; two daughters, Terri Huckleberry and husband Jason of Springdale, Amber Smith and husband Dan of Lowell; three grandchildren, Trenton Yeakley, Danessa Smith, and Garrett Smith; two sisters, Geraldine Harp and Joyce Galbraith, both of Springdale; three nieces and three nephews. A visitation will be 5-7 p.m. November 5, 2015 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., November 6, 2015 at Westfield Chapel. Interment will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.
