Irene Morgan

IRENE MORGAN, 93 years of age, of Jacksonville, entered into the presence of the Lord, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015. Irene was born June 5, 1922 in Guion, Ark. to the late Lonzo and Dora Grimes Chapman. She was the devoted wife of William E. Morgan for 57 years. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, two sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by her cherished sister, Dottie McCrady; she was the beloved mother of Judy Morgan Justice and Janet Morgan DiFilippo (Jim). She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Christina Whiting, Becki Massey (Jim), Jennifer Romontio (Paul), Gina DiFilippo, Anthony DiFilippo (Cathy); great-grandchildren: Trey Whiting, Chance and Jack Nichols, Tatum Massey, Landen and Logan Romontio, Ashley Justice, and Lydia DiFilippo; great-great-grandchildren, Alexis and Kendal Whiting; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 with a visitation from 1 p.m. until service time at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the Arkansas Hospice nurses and staff, especially Deb and Shery for the loving care given to Mrs. Morgan.
