Doyle Edward Shirley Jr.

Doyle Edward Shirley Jr., a self-employed building contractor and land developer, died November 8 at his home. He was born in Hot Springs on May 18, 1933, to Doyle Edward Shirley and Frieda Burroughs Shirley. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Sherry; five children, Phillip (Cynthia), Mark (Janet) of Hot Springs, Karen (Will) of Little Rock, Kevin (Susan) of Boone, N.C., Bart of Cleveland, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Patsy Reed of Little Rock; niece, Tanya Wright (Richard); and nephew Ricky Reed (Angela). Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
