Ida Lee Sweeney

Ida Lee Sweeney, age 82, of Hermitage, Ark., died Saturday, November 7, at U.A.M.S. Born January 6, 1933, in Sumpter, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Albert Wesley Outlaw and Irma Glennon Outlaw. Ida was retired from Sykes Flooring, a chicken farmer, former owner/operator of Sweeney Hardware, a homemaker, member of Antioch Baptist Church and attended public schools in Vick, Warren and Hermitage. Survivors are her husband Claude Sweeney Jr., whom she married February 15, 1950. Three daughters, Marilyn Tooke, Mt. Ida, Ark., Carolyn Temple and spouse Stephen, Hermitage, Ark., Rhonda Ferrell and spouse Scotty, Johnsville, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were brothers; Bobby Outlaw, Leslie Outlaw; sisters, Letha Mae Saffold, Sara Dean Coddington and a son-in-law Billy Tooke.
