Dorris Hatcher Hutson

DORRIS HATCHER HUTSON, aged 87, died November 16, 2015 in Little Rock. She was born in Bearden, Ark. on Oct. 10, 1928 to H.W. and Ellen Womack Hatcher and moved to Hope, Ark. as a toddler. Dorris was a lifetime resident of Arkansas having lived in Hope, Rogers, Morrilton, Forrest City, Pine Bluff and Little Rock. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hope, Ark.. Her true loves were needlework, gardening, playing bridge, and, most of all - her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 59 years Robert Terrell Hutson, a daughter, Sharon Ellen Hutson, and four sisters, Eudora Brice, Pauline Brice, Maxine Dillard, and Patsy Bolton. Dorris is survived by one daughter, Gail Hutson Douglas of Little Rock, one granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Douglas of Maumelle, one grandson, Drew Hutson Douglas and his wife Anna Schulze, and two great-grandsons, Thomas Hutson Douglas and Callum Alexander Douglas of Melbourne, Australia. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 between the hours of 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at at 2 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hope, Ark. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Little Rock, Ark.
