Jake Dillon Turnbo, 23, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 11 in Los Angeles, California. Jake was a cherished son, grandson and nephew, a beloved brother and a steadfast friend. Jake was a gentle soul with a huge heart and quick wit. His easy smile and movie-star beauty lit up every room he entered. From an early age, he earned the reputation as the boy who would do anything for his friends and family. Jake attended North Little Rock High School from 2007 to 2010, where he was beloved by many friends, and developed his passion for making music. He moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to be near his big sister, Chelsea, who he counted as one of his best friends. They were on a mission, together, to conquer the world. He treasured his little brother Alex, now 12, and doted on him from the moment he was born. The two shared an inseparable bond. He is survived by his mother, Cindy Turnbo, father, Beau Turnbo, sister Chelsea Turnbo and brother, Alex Turnbo; grandparents, Lee Crisp, Beverly Harp, Chester Turnbo, Harold Crisp and Sherry Crisp; aunts, Constance Crisp, Dina Pruitt and Julie Bird; uncles, Tommy Turnbo and Elton Pruitt; cousins, Adam Crane, Jackson Pruitt and Sharlyn Rose, and many other extended family and hundreds of friends. Jake brought joy and light to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller Owens Funeral Home, NLR. Services will be Thursday, November 19 at 11 a.m., at First Assembly of God Church, NLR. Arrangements by Rosewood Cremation & Funeral Obit/photo/guestbook www.rosewoodcremation.com.
