Larry Wayne Kindy

Photo of Larry Wayne Kindy
Larry Wayne Kindy, of East End, was born Jan. 7, 1962 in Little Rock, the son of Pat Edgar Kindy (Crowell) and the late Wayne Kindy. He worked with Progressive Construction and was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed being outdoor. He was a member of both East End and Crain Hunting Clubs, and when not working, he spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. Larry was always busy with something. Just to name a few of the countless things he enjoyed doing: he liked to camp, ride dirt bikes, watch Nascar, rebuild trucks, go to his kid's ballgames, and just "piddle" in his shop. Without a doubt, all of those things were things he did alongside his family, whom he cherished. Larry died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 53. He was preceded in death by two men he loved and admired greatly, his dad, Wayne Kindy and his father-in-law, Bill Whiting. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori Whiting Kindy of East End; son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Erin Kindy of East End; daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Josh Kimbrell of Ico; grandson, Jason; mother and step-dad, Pat and Jack Crowell of Hot Springs Village; mother-in-law, Patsy Whiting of Sheridan; sisters, Debbye Kindy Hedrick and husband, Dub of East End and Vicki Kindy Buchannan of Greenwood. He is also survived by a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and he loved each and every one of them. Memorial services will held at 10 a.m., Monday, No. 23, 2015 at East Union Missionary Baptist Church in East End. Visitation will be Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan, (870) 942-1306. To sign the online guestbook: www.memorialgardenssheridan.com.
