Cleo Holt, 93, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home in Springdale. She was born April 7, 1922 in Ozark, Arkansas, to Dee Bankston and Ida Hayes Bankston. Cleo served our country working at the Ogden, Utah ammunitions depot during World War II. She also worked for Daisy Air Rifle, George's Processing and Welch Foods. She married Gene Holt on October 30, 1954 at Central United Methodist Church in Springdale. Cleo enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting and bowling before she and Gene learned to play golf. They loved golf so much, they built their home on a Springdale Country Club lot in 1972. Cleo is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Watkins and one sister, Tilda Warford. Survivors include: her husband, Gene Holt, and three children; one son, Danny Couch and wife Eulene of Springdale, two daughters, Peggy Harper of Hereford, Arizona and Deborah Hardiman and husband John of Rogers; five grandchildren; Kelly Couch, Rick Couch, Nicole Hardiman, Julie Hardiman and Mark Hardiman; six great-grandchildren, Stephen, Dakota, Colton, Cooper, Eduardo and Lillian; three sisters; Mary Katherine Warford, Faye Minor and Barbara Parker; two brothers; Bill Watkins and Archie Watkins. Visitation will be at Sisco Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on the same day at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
