Ethel Marie Lyman Kennedy Seaward, 78, of Cabot, died, Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born on February 23, 1937, in Knapps Creek, New York, to the late Marlin and Sarah Snyder Lyman. Ethel was a woman who was never wanting and was always giving. She served her country in the United States Navy. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and her daughter, Linda Hinkle. Ethel is loved and survived by her husband, James Seaward; children, Debbie Seaward, James L. Seaward (Tammy), Jeff Seaward, Mary Billingy (Carl), Dan Kennedy, Anna Kennedy, Jim Kennedy, Cynthia Kennedy, and Cheryl Wilson (Bill); sisters, Mary Grimsey (Fred), and Anna Beeles; brother, Arthur Lyman (Bev); 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous special nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church in Jacksonville, or Gentiva Hospice in Little Rock. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Spring Creek Health and Rehab for providing amazing care to Ethel for the last four and a half years.
