Dorothy Mae Minnich

Dorothy Mae Minnich, 80, of Springdale, passed from this life on Nov. 19, 2015. She was born Dec. 17, 1934 in Pine Grove, Pa. to Robert and Norma Olt Trumbo. Dorothy was a devoted member of Family Baptist Church in Springdale. She enjoyed volunteering for Springdale Senior Center and the Meals on Wheels Program for the last 18 years. She loved meeting people and believed in giving back to her community. Even with the challenges of life she still approached every day with a smile on her face. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Minnich; her parents; her daughter, Donna Martinez; and her son, Michael Minnich. Left to cherish her memory are seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Springdale Senior Center, 203 Park St., Springdale, Ark. 72764.
