Veda "Dixie" Broderick Loomis

Veda "Dixie" Broderick Loomis, 91, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years David Loomis. Dixie loved the Lord and we know that she is happy to finally be with Him. She is survived by her sister, Christina DeLashmutt, Carter Lake, Iowa, daughters, Sharen (Jim) Lemen, Blair, Neb., Joan Kimball Davis, Joplin, Mo., Sue Loomis LaHood, Bella Vista, Linda (Dick) Birge, Papillion, Neb., 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dixie loved to golf, swim, dance and travel. She never knew a stranger and always had a contagious smile. There will be a memorial service at Abundant Life Ministries, 1809 Forrest Hills Drive, on Friday October 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Salvation Army at 504 N.
