John Wendell Yarbrough

SMSgt John Wendell Yarbrough, USAF Retired, 65, of Cabot died Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was born October 22, 1949 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Henry Macon and Margaret Josephine Scebra Yarbrough. Mr. Yarbrough served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, during Vietnam and in Desert Storm. After retirement he was employed by the State of Arkansas and served on the Lonoke County Fair Board. Mr. Yarbrough attended Cabot United Methodist Church. He enjoyed deer hunting and belonged to the Johnson Deer Camp near Prescott. He also enjoyed caring for the family's show horses and drinking coffee at Waffle House with his Air Force buddies. Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his wife, Susan Hubsch Yarbrough, children; Brian Todd Yarbrough and Monica Nicole Yarbrough, grandchildren; Ashton Yarbrough and Kendall Yarbrough and a brother, Larry Yarbrough. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
