Gary Gene Gurwell

Gary Gene Gurwell, 69, of Rogers passed away October 2, 2015 in Bentonville. He was born October 15, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Eugene Everett Gurwell and Margaret Wolfe Gurwell Firecholtz. He is preceded in death by his father and three nieces. He is survived by his children, Everett Gurwell (Christina McArdle) of Rogers and Tonia Gurwell Sturm of Galena, Missouri; his mother, Margaret of Rogers; brothers Fred Gurwell and Mark Gurwell; sisters, Gail Callison and Yvonne Edmundson of Rogers and Debra Gurwell of Virginia Beach, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Cory, Jamie, Haley and Kellie Gurwell of Rogers, Gerald and Jacob Sturm of Neosho, Missouri and Bill Thomas and wife Katie of Springdale and three great-grandchildren, Josh, Ryder, Rossi Thomas and many nieces and nephews. Visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. with memorial services at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.
