Kenneth Joseph Roberts

Kenneth "Kenny" Joseph Roberts was born March 29, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Margaret Roberts and the late George Roberts Sr. Class of 1968 graduate from Horace Mann High School, and also Shorter College He also furthered his education at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kenny joined the US Navy. Kenny accepted Christ at an early age at New Hebron Baptist Church where he served faithfully in the Young People's Department. Kenny was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Effie and Alexander White; his father, George Roberts Sr.; brother, George (Bear) Roberts Jr. and his sister, Constance Roberts Bush. He leaves to celebrate his home going: mother, Margaret Roberts; and birth son, S.E. Williams. He also leaves four sisters, Freda D. Roberts, Maria Roberts, Sheila (Lawrence) Johnson, and Mary Roberts; his four brothers, Jerry Roberts, John Roberts Sr., Phillip (Nancy) Roberts, and Herman (LaSheila) Roberts all of Little Rock, Arkansas. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and family. Home going service will be on Friday, October 9, 2015, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Baptist Church, 4800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. NLR, Ark. Visitation: Thursday, October 8, 2015, 6-7 p.m,, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S.
