Paul Hargrove

Paul Hargrove, 82, of Pine Bluff, died Monday, September 21, 2015 in White Hall. Born James Paul Hargrove October 8, 1932 in Tyler, Texas, son of Herman and Oletha Gettie Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove was reared and received his early education in Tyler, graduating from Tyler High School. He earned his drilling specialty degree from Kilgore Community College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hargrove was a purchasing supervisor for Occidental Petroleum Corporation. James enjoyed watching horse racing and sprint car racing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lea Ann Hargrove VonTungeln; his parents; and two sisters, Janice Herchman and Judy Hargrove. Survivors include daughter, Ann Marie Hill of Spring, Texas; three grandchildren, Ashley Brianne Cheek of Pine Bluff, James Wesley Ephraim Hill, II and Lillian Annelyse Hill, both of Spring; and great-grandchild, Ryker Cheek. A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Lewis Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until service time at Robinson's. Online register: www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
