Gracie Parnell Cochran

Gracie Parnell Cochran, 90, a lifelong resident of the Hamilton Community near Carlisle entered her eternal home on October 8, 2015. She was born October 6, 1925 to John Ed and Daisy (Brown) Parnell. She married Eddie Beliew and to that union a daughter, Frances Beliew Cheek was born. Following Eddie's death in WWII she later married Sam Cochran. She was the oldest living member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her sister, Helen Cochran, and her grandson, Eddie Cheek. She is survived by her daughter, her sister Carolyn Reaves, and four grandchildren Allen (Stacy) Cheek of Stuttgart, Phyllis (Rick) Newton of Stuttgart, Kim (Tommy) Sullivan of Cabot along with ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Sunday, October 11 at 2 p.m. at Hamilton United Methodist Church, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home. Lonoke.
