Marie Lois Loftis

Marie Lois Loftis, 82, of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Bella Vista, died Wednesday, October 07, 2015 in Joplin, Missouri. She was born September 20, 1933 in Meeker, Colorado the daughter of Lucille and Orville Hicken. Marie was a loving mother, loving grandmother and loving great-grandmother. She was a member of New Hope Assembly of God Church. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for 30 years after moving from Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by: her husband; Fred Loftis in 2011, her parents, one brother and one sister. Marie is survived by: two sons; Donald Glenn Loftis of Winfield, Kansas, Charles Lee Loftis and his wife Toni, of Joplin, Missouri two daughters; Donna Jean Ebert and her husband Andrew, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Marlena Ann Morris and her husband John, of Paola, Kansas, nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be: Sunday, October 11th at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral service will be: Sunday, October 11th at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers at 2 p.m., with Pastor James Longmate officiating. Interment will take place at National Cemetery in Fayetteville at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13th. Memorials may be sent to: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
