Glenn Dean Knoot

Glenn Dean Knoot, 72, of Bentonville, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born Oct. 10, 1943 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Jennie Mae Aalsburg and Anton Knoot. He was employed by Wal-Mart for over 25 years. Glenn worked as a pharmacist for many years and retired as the Regional Vice-President of Pharmacy with Wal-Mart. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1972 after moving from Iowa. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, and bowling, and attending church at First Christian Church of Bentonville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Lou Knoot and his parents. Glenn is survived by two daughters, Dee Ann Miller and her husband, Michael of Bentonville, Bobbie Nichols of Bentonville; one brother, Alvin Knoot and his wife, Pat of Ottumwa, Iowa; two sisters: Jeanette Cornell of Des Moines, Iowa; Mary Lou Donaldson and her husband, Dennis of Ottumwa, Iowa; four grandchildren: Jeremy Miller, Michelle Sticht, Jace Collins, Cullen Hassel; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Rose and Katelyn Miller. Graveside service will be announced at a later date by the family and will be held at Bentonville Cemetery with Pastor Don Morrow officiating.
