Bernice McFerran

Bernice McFerran, 79, of Charleston, AR passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 in her home from complications of Parkinson Disease.She was born September 18, 1936 in Charleston to the late Ray Douglas and Agnes Nicely Douglas. She had a very successful career working with savings and loans in Harrison, Jonesboro and Little Rock; her hobbies were interior decorating and working with homeless animals. Memorial service will be held at a later date at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston, Ark. She is survived by her husband of 62 plus years, Kenneth McFerran of the home, and one brother, Charles Ray Douglas and wife Pam of Van Buren; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Brown of Conway and Katie Robertson of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.
