John D. Bullock, age 86, of Bryant, Ark. was called home to be with the lord on Monday, October 12, 2015. John was born on September 26, 1929 in Hope, Arkansas. He served in the Air Force in Fort Worth, Texas from 1950-1955. In 1957, he began his own business by opening up the "Hi-Boy" in Little Rock, Arkansas. This led to owning Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Arkansas and Louisiana. John was a KFC franchise owner for 50 years. He is a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene. John is preceded in death by his father, John Darris Bullock, his mother, Marie Bullock, his sister Dorothy Robertson, and great grandson Gabriel Hinojosa. John is survived by his five children; David Bullock, Randy Bullock (Tracye), Karen King, Debbie Wolf (Bob), and Ricky Bullock; his eleven grandchildren, Brandi Soucy (Shawn), Lori Hinojosa (Jose), Lindlee Bullock, Corbi McCallister (Jay), Landon Bullock (Stacie), Brennan Bullock (Elizabeth), Kathryn King, Will King, John Paul King, Jesse Wolf, and Dylan Wolf; 11 great-grandchildren and his ex-wife and friend, Jessie Bullock. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Bro. George Yarberry officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Harmony, Arkansas at 3 p.m. An online guestbook is available at griffinleggettforesthills.com.
